"fl" is just a quick hack, which I wrote when I got tired of having to keep switching back to the Finder to get the file information I wanted. It is an MPW tool to list files in reverse order by date. The command format is: fl <n>, where "n" is the maximum number of files to list. The maximum number of files fl can list is 256, although the limit can be changed by recompiling the program.
